For guitarists seeking the vibrant, classic P.A.F. tone, but with a bit more emphasis on the mids, we have developed a special variation of the Spirit of 59.
To even better capture the true, gritty character of this set, we have renamed our previous "O-Tone 59" to the "Rock'n'Roll 59".
Compared to the Spirit of 59, we designed the neck pickup in this set to be a bit drier and more nasal. The Rock'n'Roll 59 neck pickup has a DC resistance of approximately 7.7 kOhm and perfectly embodies the warm, singing sound of instruments from the 50s.
However, the crucial difference from the classic Spirit of 59 is evident at the bridge: Here, we have wound the Rock'n'Roll 59 bridge pickup significantly more powerfully. With a DC resistance of approx. 8.9 kOhm, it is clearly "overwound" and delivers precisely the extra boost needed for driving riffs and assertive lead sounds. This powerful vintage tone boasts a massive, singing, and perfectly dosed midrange spectrum. As the new name already promises, it's the absolute ideal choice for rock'n'roll.
The set is wound with historically correct #42 Plain Enamel wire and equipped with authentic AlNiCo IV magnets.

Not satisfied with a standard item (in-stock item)? No problem. We accept returns for eligible items within 30 days of delivery. Please ensure that the items are unused and in their original packaging. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
